AMJ Blog
I have been writing a blog for some time. I use it to share my experiences and views on mental health – I had a breakdown in 2014/15 and live with depression and anxiety – and work life balance. I am passionate about working on my wellbeing and helping others to achieve and maintain the right work life balance and wellbeing approaches for them. My blog – along with my Twitter feed – comes with one health warning – if you read it you may have to hear about some of my other passions – my family, golf, Liverpool FC, communications, the Boston Red Sox, politics and the West Wing.
The Open: that was the week that was. And what a week!
Safe standing; heart vs head?
Emotion makes life and sport worthwhile
Watching Rory today proving that you never, ever stop trying
Setting the goal of getting to The Open; I'll drink to that
It may take a village to help but ultimately leadership is an individual game
Stuff I saw at The Open today to take into my daily life
Practice makes perfect
Another day; another breakfast
We went to London, but not all of us wanted to see The Queen
Planes, trains and automobiles; well, almost
Thank you to the hospital
Nobody can put words in your mouth
Tired of Twitter; tired of life.
One Sunday; two darling daddy-daughter moments
My Saturday; a belter and written up in no time
Summer has started - just turn on the BBC
First sports day - another work life balance milestone passed
And with your spirit
